Research

My doctoral research is dedicated to the development of advanced biomaterials for Drug Delivery and regenerative medicine with a particular focus on Polyhydroxyalkanoates and biodegradable polyesters. I work with different techniques of Electrospinning, scaffold fabrication, drug loading and release kinetics studies to develop materials that can accelerate wound healing and support tissue regeneration. A key aspect of this work is optimizing scaffold architecture to enable tunable and sustained drug release while maintaining the mechanical properties and biocompatibility required for regenerative medicine. In addition, my research extends to the in vitro biological evaluation of these scaffolds, focusing on cytotoxicity and biocompatibility studies. By combining Scaffold engineering, Drug Delivery strategies and Biological testing, this project research aims to pave the way for clinically relevant biomaterials in regenerative medicine. I am also open to collaborate with researchers across disciplines to explore new directions and broaden the applications of this work.
