Research My research consists in the study of hybrid nanoparticles based in biodegradable polymers and bioceramic materials for drug delivery the treatment of tumor cells. The aim of this investigation is to get a deeper comprehension of the internalization mechanism of these systems, in tumoral cells, by monitoring it using high resolution microscopic techniques. The importance of unravelling the cellular interactions between nanometric systems, is mandatory to design new therapies to prevent cancer in the future.
