Research

My doctoral research focuses on the design and synthesis of pseudoprotein-based cationic polymers derived from the natural amino acids L-arginine and L-leucine, subsequently PEGylated to form functional nanoparticles. These biodegradable, highly biocompatible matrices are engineered for targeted nucleic-acid delivery, gene therapy, and antimicrobial applications. The work involves optimizing polymer composition, surface functionalization, and nanoparticle physicochemical properties to enhance stability, biodistribution, and therapeutic efficacy. Integrating polymer chemistry, nanomaterials engineering, and biomedical science, the project aims to create next-generation smart materials for advanced drug and gene delivery systems.
